XDS Optimizer - is a plugin for metamod, dealing with internal fixation engine HLDS. Currently supported: 
Complete freedom from errors svc_bad "Error: server failed to transmit file 'AY & SY'", which is throwing out a book from the server. It is manifested mainly on servers, generating a lot of outgoing traffic. 
Optimization of connection for each client.



Installation: 
Create a folder / addons / xdsopt / 
Unzip the contents of the archive (archive only one file - the plugin itself) 
Open / addons / metamod / plugins.ini, append the line 
For Windows: 
win32 addons\xdsopt\xds_opt.dll 
For Linux: 
linux addons/xdsopt/xds_opt.so 
Start the server. After downloading check the list of active plugins with the command meta list, find where xdsopt, its status should be RUN: 
[3] xdsopt RUN - xds_opt.so v0.4 ini Start Never 
If the status is not RUN, it means that your installed version of hlds not supported.
The solution - to update the server with hldsupdatetool.
